B737 USB power

Those ports are low power but in this instance it's pretty clear the port was just broken. To be honest, I'm surprised I don't see many broken USB ports in planes, given every public USB-A charging port I come across in airport terminals seems to be broken (usually the plastic tongue inside has been bent)
 
The discission above re-inforces my outlook that

I am totally disinterested in having to know what charges from where, using what make of cable etc. Stick one end into positive potential, the other end into negative potential and just carry some electrons between the two, FFS.


I thought in the cult of Apple that things just work.... :rolleyes:

My loyalty to Apple is the same as my loyalty to airlines and hotel chains.

I love my iPhone, but run a MS Surface tablet and a Dell laptop. They all sync with each other, so I'm OK with it all.
