This is killing me. Booked on VA1 on 9 May (which has now reverted to old layout) and VA2 13 May.

If I change my flight to the 8th do you think there is a significantly higher probability of picking up the new seat based on current insight?

IMO keep with what you've got. VA is changing this every couple of days and until they actually have VH-VPD back in service will we know anything for sure. Keep an eye on any movement here: https://flightaware.com/live/flight/VHVPD

Its going to be like the A330's again - a fair bit of anticipation then deflated when seat maps update. Our May 16th VA1 May 23rd VA2 is still new but I'm resigned to the fact that this will change, unless someone can give us a concretish (if it is such a word) schedule once the first one is in service.

i'm back on the 23rd as well....see you at the bar! i'll even shout you the first round (new bar or old!)

I'll be on VA2 23rd May should there be any further delay. Hopefully not.

Fair few of us on this service by the looks of things.

i'm not shouting you all drinks! ;)
i'm coming in from MIA on AA so praying i make it....in theory should have enough time but if i get delayed by any more than an hour or so i might be in a bit of trouble

LOL! This is nail-biting stuff. The anticipation!! Well, VA1 on May 8 has indeed changed to the new seat map (yay for me) and VA2 on May 19 is still showing the new seat map (another yay for me). My fingers are tightly crossed that I get to try the new seat in both directions! :D

I'm booked late May Syd-Lax, return early June. Where do you check the seat plans? When I booked it showed the new plans but obviously that might have changed.

Check either through your booking on the VA/Velocity site or through EF.

I just enabled alerts through my FlightAware profile, so hopefully I'll get an email when this bird moves as much as an inch!

I'm on the VA1 5th May and VA2 9th May, both had new config, now changed to old :(

Damn, had flights BNE to LAX leaving 10 June and returning 24 June booked this week with new seat map, and now changed back to original seat map.

Urgh. VA2 on May 19 has just reverted back to the old seat map...

Yep - Now showing VA2 on May 1st as old configuration; new configuration for VA2 from May 2nd and all subsequent even numbered May dates.

All odd numbered May dates have reverted to old configuration.

BNE VA8 Flights now don't show new configuration until June 27th.
