I'm trying to get back from the UK to MEL next week and managed to snag a LAX->SYD->MEL in classic J award on Wednesday.

Now just trying to grab a J classic award to get from LHR to LAX, I'm getting confounded by errors on the QF website. I've tried various permutations and a few come up, including direct LHR-LAX with BA on various days. When I try to book though I get a website error just at the very last stage. Tried it with my partner's QF account and the same result. Phoned QF (90 mins on hold) to be told there was NO BA classic J award availability on those days, despite the website returning them as available on the web search, and this is why it refused to book.

Problem is, I've tried a few others including LHR->JFK, LHR->BOS, etc and get the same problem. Some dates show award J availability, but when you try to book you get an error. Makes finding a flight next to impossible! Looks like some kind of weird bucket/award mismatch between BA & QF

Anyone else seeing this?

Website error is:

Yep, broken as.

Tried to book BA biz rewards for June 26th london to sydney, shows availability on the qantas booking page. but soon as I go from the enter passenger details to the payment page, that error you mention comes up.

Tried next day, same thing, day before, same.
