BA Status Match

This seems to be it but no details before applying which I haven't done yet

Appreciate the link, but it’s just a “waitlist Status match”, if there is such a thing. This is Marketing 101 for “Give us all your details so that we can add them to our ever growing database of customer data which we can then sell and spam, even if said waitlist never happens”.

Think I’ll wait until there’s a real status match on the table.
 
Haha, quite possibly. Requires a small amount of photoshopping of UA virtual trial card though.
Ah, I was wondering if “Trial” emblazoned on the eCard was an issue. I had one last year for some free lounge visits. Just under 5 years before I get another one…😳
 
@Gold Member when you submitted docs (before approval), did you get a confirmation email? Because I didn't and I'm wondering if my session timed-out and i should try again?

No email upon submission, just a summary screen to confirm my application and something like that they'll get back to me in 7-10 working days.

How many days since you applied? Wouldn't hurt to try again while still in the application window. Perhaps make mention of the prior submission in the open text field?
 
Has anyone been able to log in today? Finally decided to do it even though I have no trips planned yet, but I haven't been able to log in. Just showing an error every time, I try.

Yeah, I don't think I had a summary screen either. I think my session got broken. Trying again now.
 
*sigh* Apparently everyone is having trouble with BA.com, per FlyerTalk. Just noticed my app is being a bit weird too.

Maybe this is what happened to me earlier: I logged-in successfully but the site timed-out while taking my entry.

Was just able to log in now and submit the form. First try timed out and took me back to the log in page, second try it showed a confirmation after I submitted. Maybe try again now.
 
Thanks, @itsjackson, eventually I got back in. I got a submission confirmation screen, and a proforma email a couple of hours later saying my case had been transferred to the relevant department. So [fingers crossed], I guess.

It's several days ago now, but I clicked through from the Tier Match splash page, had to authenticate, then it sent me to a form to upload docs and one of the scenarios described was for "tier match". I uploaded the evidence and submitted.
 
I don't know if you've already applied, but the supposed closure date was 7 May. That said, the page is still live, so...?
 
I got an email last night saying their system hadn't received my uploaded doc (although the case number was the one of my last attempt, where it actually appeared to submit successfully) so I sent it via return email. Will advise when I have any further progress.
 
I submitted the form with my documents on the 7th, BA responded with my match to gold at midnight on the 9th. I also got an email from them to confirm the match went through. Maybe time to plan some trips before it expires, will be hard to extend it from here.
