Would appreciate some advice on a baggage.
I am travelling MUC-LHR on QF3562 (BA metal), connecting to QF10 LHR-MEL. Will have a bag and a ski bag, but under 23kg in total. BA are apparently going to hit me with an extra bag charge at MUC, phoned QF and they said since BA, not QF, will be checking you in, that’s right.

Would this not fall under the Most Significant Carrier rule or BA’s passenger commitment to provide the most generous allowance on connecting flights? QF will allow a ski bag as part of the free allowance, as long as you are under 23kg. Have searched on this, but most of the discussion is in reference to extra allowance & status. I am just NB travelling Y.

Thanks in advance.

The MSC would point to Qantas for the allowance. However, this is likely to be the NB allowance.

This allowance should already be in your PNR.

If there is only the one of you on the booking this should be available for you to read when you bring you booking up here:
