Bad experience with REX Business

I hated them!

Rex or Priority Pass or lounge visitors or all?

Oh, Rex were fine, at least for the flying I needed to do out of Albury. But the P Pass people came and took over the lounges, and whilst there seemed to spend a fair bit of time loudly complaining about how it wasn’t as good as whatever other lounges they had access too.

Tried them Syd-Mel. Y trash using the forward lav. When I went in for a quick freshen up there was urine on the sink. Not a 2* hotel in Earl's Court circa 1961 and not acceptable.

I like the fact that Rex has call centres where the phones are answered by Australians, usually promptly; like the cheap fares, like the in-flight service in Y and J.....but access to their lounge is the last reason I'd use to chose Rex – unless you want a place to mediate where it will be quiet and no-one will disturb you.

Sorry to hear about your experience.
I flew Rex for 1st time on Fri 25/3 BNE-MEL Had Y ticket but got upgraded to business for some reason (I asked the baggage attendant how she felt about working for Rex. She asked if I was a reviewer, to which I said “no”, then was suddenly upgraded by her and the checkin guy nearby).
Food - best I have ever had on an airline, business or otherwise - roast lamb chops and veggies - all wonderfully cooked. Service was very good. I didn’t get offered lounge or priority boarding - not sure if that would have been included.
So naturally, I am ok with Rex business. Will fly them again - unfortunately the next 3 flights on that route didn’t have right price or availability (Grand Prix weekend).

Was the actual potty out of order? Therefore, the hand basin was the other option.
