Hi AFF.

My wife and I are two thirds through our RTW holiday and have come across a stumbling block with Singapore Airline's baggage policy. We have booked a Lufthansa business class RTW ticket but our last flight is an SQ ticketed flight (but part of the RTW flights) from SIN to BNE and it appears that they want to enforce their 40kg checked baggage policy whereas our thought was that they would have taken either the first carrier (Air Canada - BNE - YVR 2 x 32) or Lufthansa which is the same as Air Canada rather than enforce theirs. I'm getting some sketchy advice from SQ and getting referred to their website which seems to indicate the Air Canada or Lufthansa could be correct but it is not clear. Our ticket does show 40kg, but again we were wondering if this is simply a default and doesn't take into consideration the RTW ticket or the fact we travelled to Canada on our first leg. Any advice would be welcome.

Thanks very much
WD.
