Howdy All,

Quick question for those that have travelled in Virgins Business Class product. What's the go with the carry on baggage, the website is kinda generic.

I was planning to take:

1 x Backpack with my laptop
1 x Camera bag - medium size (IE fits my SLR)

I figure according to the website you can take on one carry bag, then in addition 1 laptop and 1 small camera. But then in detail later in mentions that if your laptop is not in a sleeve it's counted as your carry on. Plus the camera bag whilst not massive is far from being a small point and shoot.

Might leave the SLR at home this trip...

I have travelled on both B737 and A330 in business. No one took a second glance at my hand luggage. Especially as the A330 hasn't been full when I've flown on it so plenty of space. The new BSI overheads are very roomy too.

I would take it.

I think its only one piece at 7kg, and a "personal item" which could include a laptop....

From what I found they classify laptops as a separate entity and it doesn't come into the equation for carry on! I went to Paris recently and flew in PE with a lot of camera equipment and a backpack which had a laptop in it and a few other items... No questions were asked!

If worse comes to worse you act like a movie star and you will be fine :p
