It’s 2 bags. I think your booking will only show the base allowance, not your additional FF allowance.

I think you might be reading the wrong section of the baggage page, Qantas Gold frequent flyers are allowed 2 pieces up to 32kg:

This was last changed in 2012, and since then QF Gold have always received 2x 32kg bags regardless of travel class.

It's worth noting that if you hold oneworld sapphire status from an airline other than Qantas your allowance would be 2x 23kg bags.

You still get the same allowance, they just reserve the right to put the second bag on a later flight. In practice on Q400s it’s rarely a problem - never happened to me.

Well I have found on the itinerary emailed that I have 2 checks bags as previous thank goodness. But that is the first time I ever recall booking and It telling me I only have 1 checked bag

For what its worth, I find the mobile app accurate when it displays baggage allowance, both for QF and the partner airline I booked with recently (EK BA QR CX). The value would also be different for Gold Mrs chrismars and Wp myself.
