This has already been going on for a couple of weeks now.
Sure the eruptions have been going on for a bit however this is the start of the flight impacts we're seeing. With the winds blowing the way they are and assuming eruptions continue we could see impacts into the weekend.

I guess if anyone is desperate to get to Bali in the morning… all Malindo/Batik flights launched out of DPS straight through the volcanic as area onwards to the east coast. One could safely assume they’ll do the same in reverse tomorrow.

Citilink and Air Asia have continued Perth services (however had the sense to at least fly around the triangle of doom). Garuda also departed for Sydney (however took a longer route).

All Jetstar flights to Bali this morning are cancelled. Virgin's morning flights are still scheduled at this stage.

Garuda PER-DPS still scheduled for 7:35 at this stage. No delays noted on the PER departure website.
