May be having 1.5 days (Saturday lunchtime to Sunday night) stopover in Bali later this year.

Would like some suggestions as to how best to spend this time as a first time Bali visitor.

Not interested in the drugs / sleaze scene.

Many thanks!

Depends @drcam on what your interests are.
Surfing - Uluwatu
Crazy, busy, shopping, restaurants - Kuta, Seminyak, Legian
R&R - Nusa Dua
Nightlife/party - Canggu

With 36 hours and I'd go for Nusa Dua, 20 minutes from Airport.

Thanks. I think I'll go for a reasonable resort in Seminyak, go for a jog on the beach, swim, and then undo the good work by over-eating. Just in time for my red-eye economy flight home! (Suggestions for Balinese snacks to take on the flight?)
