Hi collective wisdom of AFF!

I am looking for recommendations on any villa's in Bali that fit the following requirements:

  • 4 bedrooms
  • Swimming Pool
  • Max budget of USD$4500 for 7 nights ($650 a night max, inclusive of tax)
  • We are travelling in low season (late October)

It is for my fathers 60th Birthday so the group of people will be my parents (60, 52), 2 couples (26,24,24,24) and a single girl (18). We will mix up between eating at home and out about half and half depending on the quality of restaurants around. My parents live in Bangkok and are used to having maids and driver, so household staff is expected at minimum plus most likely a chef.

We are unsure of the best area to go and don't mind being a bit out of the way (but if it is not going to be walking distance to beach or shops then would want to have a pretty spectacular view to make up for it).

For a reference point this is a couple we have looked at so far:

Villa Kirania Bali
The Jewel Villa Bali

So advise away AFF!

Thanks

TIL

So this doesn't happen on AFF but it seems I have created a thread with not one response!

I understand it is a very specific question but would have thought some people out there would have had experience on this.

It's OK, I'm here!

I would stay at the second option. We have stayed at Benoa 3 times. It's much quieter over there and away from most of the hawkers. Most of the resorts have their own beach frontage (so no beach hawkers either).

Kuta and Jimbaran Bay tend to be in the hustle and bustle (if you like that sort of thing). Jimbarin has some nice beach front restaurants where you can view the sunset, but it's not far in a taxi anyway. Nusa Dua also has a good shopping centre (fairly modern) as well as a collection of shops on the Jalan Pratama road (and a really good tailor).
