Maybe VA can get their hands on some B787s…
Yeah, maybe BNE-LAX (and complimenting the UA BNE-SFO) and/or BNE-HND (replacing CNS-HND). :oops:o_O

I think Bamboo only had 3 787s from memory, with 10 options (which is highly likely to be cancelled/not taken up).

Seriously though, I can't see Bain being interrupted by another carrier closing their long haul services/fleet and concentrating on domestic/short haul international in their country/greater South East Asia.

That’s 3 more wide bodies than VA2.0….

No, but if they did decide to swing back to longhaul the lead time for factory fresh birds is very long….

UA will also start operating between BNE and LAX
Only seasonal at this stage; December to March. BNE-SFO drops back to 3 weekly for the NS (April 2024 to October 2024), unless if the Queensland Government/BAC steps in with the AAIF funds to keep that daily through NS.

Folks

If you have any QH booking to SGN or HAN, tough luck.

Its overseas services are now severely truncated with OZ services completely shut down.

Q: what's the best way to get a refund for bookings paid on CC?

Had emailed QH but not holding my breath. Would wait a a reply, if any, before contacting CC provider [which I had churned last month!].

Quite the fall.

All seemingly started when the Chairman of the then parent FLC Group got arrested for insider trading and market manipulation in early 2022.

Him Lam Group, a property developer took control in early 2023, but seemingly hasn't had the capital to deal with the massive lo
sses.

I have flights booked in Dec returning Jan. Have not heard anything from Bamboo about what is happening - what to do regarding a refund etc. I know I am only a diamond member and enjoyed the airline while it was. Now have to find other flights - any suggestions - not Vietjet and Vietnam Air have put prices up strangely.

Saw this Bamboo 787 parked at MEL next to our gate. Probably for one of the last times in Melbourne?
