Do not apply online as my friend who works for BW told me that there are some bugs for cc application, 99% people will get declined automatically.

I received conditional approval on the spot. They were going to demand details of rental property, but my wife being a BW customer got me over the line with only having to provide two pay slips.

you can do it by phone, at a branch, or download a form it seems

Most annoying thing about Bankwest - needing to visit an ATM to change my PIN. Closest branch or ATM would be at least 700km away by road to Kununurra. Nothing in the NT.

Here2go if you print this thread out and mail it to BankWest their social media monitoring will review it. A senior person in the bank overseas social media especially for things being detailed in this thread.

I can live with the PIN - but may flick the thread to them on Twitter. I've been playing with online banking, and there is a form to let them know you're intending to travel. Now I don't tend to bank with major banks, so don't know if something exists like that there, but that's awesome!

Yes Twitter will do it. They do need to know if their credit card application on line has a bug in it.
The thing that pissed us off was only new customers get the bonus points on their Platinum Credit card. I felt embarrassed for their staff on that stupid policy. It certainly kept them off my radar as far as doing more business with them.

I've sent it to their Twitter account. They have followed up on some of the stuff already using Twitter. Kudos to BankWest

Always before, no one will ask net pay, it can be quite difficult to calculate exactly.

You only need to have that income in the year you apply for the credit card. Our Treasurer wants you to have a taxable income every year.

After emailing pay slips I haven't had any confirmation email or other communication with them. That's why I was wondering. I sent this info in on Dec 3.

Last night I was looking at the writ list for companies and individuals who may not have paid their bills in WA. The Australian Taxation Office was the biggie in the listings this week by a country mile.

Why can't they be like the NAB Platinum customer service? If I didn't reply to them straight away I'd have an e-mail anda voicemail every time they tried to call - even over the tiniest matters like "do you want it posted or picked up at a branch" etc.
