Given this seems to be a generic Batik/ Batik Malaysian thread.
Recently flew OD540 KUL-HKT on a Max8.

OD operate from KLIA and had some print bag tag machines at the end of the check-in row which allowed me to avoid the check-in queue and use the much shorter bag drop queue.

Strange mostly white livery that I suspect reflected Lion Group roots of the aircraft, but Batik seems to have a lot of different liveries.
This was one of the all Y aircraft and weirdly it starts Row 1 on the ABC side but 2 on the DEF side despite the seats being fairly closely aligned - even the crew got confused during service.

My original booking was for 4F which I think was an aircraft with Biz but this got swapped out some time.



I'd booked OD over MH as it was substantially cheaper even with seat selection and baggage, think MYR299 all in, and the MH regional lounge isn't that great.

The included meal (Lamb Biryani) and soft drink was decent enough.

Just like the Ryanair 737 I flew BOH to MLA fairly recently. I sat in seat 2F, which was a nice extra legroom bulkhead seat.
