Local Summer/NW seasonal (Flights Operate Dec to February) but with the ex-AirAsia A330 (repainted in a hybrid Batik Air livery) this time, with the re-upholstered sloped lie-flat product

Batik previously operated the 737-8 MAX on MEL-KUL, at the time 'the longest 737 flight in the world'.

Probably not a great time to launch a new SEAsian airline starting with B.

No super lead-in fares.

Works well for 9-5 workers who wants to maximise annual leave.
Leave KUL Sunday afternoon. Arrive MEL Monday morning, go home, shower then go to work.

They are notorious for being late with the A330. Often large delays too. Certainly not on fly list but it should bring pricing down.

Just be mindful they are also terrible at last minute schedule changes. They have committed to daily, but if it proves too much capacity, they just last minute cancel/merge the schedule.
