Bendigo Ready ($0 p.a. 0% foreign fees, includes travel insurance)

Still processing the refugees from latitude. I’d give it another 6 months or so
I'm about to jump from latitude...they refused to waive the fee...I have been a customer for nearly 20 years...just want to get the flexiroam free eSims in the new year before I cancel and apply for the Bendigo card

I also ditched latitude after being with them since wizard days. They refused to waive the fee for 12 months for me too even though it appeard many others managed to. Must be some criteria but that is their prerogative. Strange going overseas without it, but there are plenty of debit providers these days like revolut, wise, up, macquarie, ubank etc.

It has been a while since I've had a hotel or car rental hold a bond and also insist on it being a credit rather than debit card. Is that still a thing?

Got the flexiroam free eSIMS and cancelled the lattitude card today. How quickly is it now taking to get the Bendigo card approved?

I’m holding on to 28° for now. I still have the fee waiver to Sep(?) and just received confirmation of the $200 “credit” from the spend $x by 31 Dec 24. Plus also have triggered a couple of the monthly credits (just need to work out how best to use them!)

I’m still torn whether to try again to get a credit limit increase on my 28° or apply for another card in due course…?

Well they refused to waiver the fee for this near 20 year client, and said I could close it if I was not happy with the fee...so I closed it!
