Every Friday night I will pick up a car at Mel airport and drop it off Monday morning.

I am pres circle with hertz and have a good CDP with them but they have stuffed me around on tolling that didn't work and has cost me too much time to sort out the issues with people who don't take responsibility seriously.

Any tips on the easiest and best deals would be really appreciated. I have little loyalty to anyone these days for the sake of it alone.

Whats a good deal, Europcar using the Velocity 51118872 promo code is $140 for 4 days.

Avis have a current offer between 1 May and 31 July. Rent any car for a minimum of 3 consecutive days, including a Saturday night overstay and receive one day free of time and kilometre charges plus 500 extra Qantas Frequent Flyer points. Must include Coupon Number TPPA045 in your booking.
Hope it could be of some use. Think I have seen the same offer with a different Coupon Number also.

We used Alpha Car Hire for the first time when we came over to Aus in October upon a recommendation from a friend and they were very good and very reasonably priced. Extremely professional, yet we were able to have a laugh with them and they gave us some great ideas of where to explore.
