Hi Everyone , After reading a number of posts and trip reports , I am looking for some recommendations on the best resort between IC Fiji and Sheraton Fiji Golf&Beach resort ( stay is in the last week of June 2024 for a week). As we have a kid who is 8 , I am not sure some of the recommended options will work as they are adults only resorts.

Appreciate any tips or suggestions. Thanks for your time.

Note : We are flexible with the budget however want to make sure there are enough activities/kid friendly pools so our son won't be bored.

I stayed at Intercon and Sofitel at the start of the year and definitely preferred Sofitel as it was closer to Denarau, just about 10 mins drive and the port where you can grab ferry to other island. Also, if you got Accor plus, food is half price which helps with cost. Intercontinental has a great beach tho. I am not sure of kids club as i do not have any kid.

Hi Masco, did you find the A+ membership to be worth it for the 50% off meals? And does that offer run all the time or should I check with the hotel. I’m planning a family trip to the Sofitel in 2025.

Recent stay at Hilton Denarau out of school holidays so not a huge number of kids.

They have both a kids club which based on the activities probably skews younger, as well as hourly pool activities for some of the older kids. 8-10 is probably the crossover point.

Denarau also has large (albeit not particularly cheap) water park.

We have stayed at several resorts on the main island. when our son was young -he turns 50 next month- we always stayed at the Sheraton resort in August to miss the westerly winds and at Christmas. He loved it.
However since then we have taken our surrogate grand children 15 years ago and our own grankids 5 years ago. They also loved it.
The problem with the IC is basically that there is nothing else around but at Denarau plenty of other things in the area.

Hey, they have capped the 50 % off for A+ to just a flat 25% from April this year which sucks. It is not an offer but you have to buy Accor plus.

Going to tack onto this, anyone have any suggestions for a group that will be two adults and four kids? Ideally one big room or connected rooms.

We did Radisson Blu around 8yrs ago, we barely left the place in the 5 days we were there, which probably means it was good for the kids. they have shallow pools for the younger kids and the main pool has the lagoon style so little ones can just splash amongst the edges.

We recently stayed at the Sheraton Fiji Beach resort and it was really good. Had lots of activities for the kids as well as different pools. Additionally they had kids club which was good.

It was hardly once or twice that we went out of the resort.
