With various threads remembering past travels via photos of places, monuments and the like, what about some for your best hotel room views when travelling (even if only interstate).

One of my favourites was from the Hotel du Pantheon., firstly by day ...IMG_2353.JPG

and even better by night.

And on a more serious note. Views from a couple of hotels in Ireland and France.

Dingle, Ireland. Green as far as the eye could see, along with the coast.

Right in the middle of Avignon, France, with the tight windy streets and lots of interesting things to see and experience

Yes. Stayed there!
When I went they were redecorating the reception with paintings of classical figures who were...how shall I put it...more physically blessed that is historically customary. By the end of my stay, they had been overprainted/bowdlerised

Actually I might need to change my vote to this. Conrad Maldives.

Oh so cruel .... I was meant to be there (in an overwater villa) in Nov 2020 😢

For the more budget version, I'll have to find a shot from Kapalai in Malaysia .... where the army is permanently stationed because the filipino gangs very regularly tried to kidnap the tourists.
