I have booked J return flights PER to LHR via HKK and SIN.

The long haul sectors are on BA metal. The last time I flew BA J on the 744 I had a window rear facing seat which was very private.

I am travelling with Mrs W so we were thinking of selecting the two adjacent rear facing seats in the middle of the 777-300 cabin. Any comments on this strategy and which is the best row (10-16)

At the moment we have 62K and J (upper deck) on the 744. 62K is an exit row window which has more legroom and good aisle access but we would be facing each other .

Any comments on these seats. Is it better to both face in the same direction bur backwards.

Have done BA - 62 A & B upper deck before and had no problem with the seats facing each other. Nice and quiet and something different..Can't help you with the BA 777-300

fly BA 744 twice a year long haul and always have upper deck 62 JK or 64 JK...Fly with Mrs pyffii and never had an issue with rear facing or enjoying the flight..Highly recommended.

I sat in 62K with advice from this site and didn't regret it. VERY VERY private as I couldnt see anyone but If I wanted to look at my mates I could easily and have a conversation.

But the best thing I found was no one to climb over or climb over me!

So for me if I was flying BA Row 62 on the upper deck would be for me again!

Last row on 777 in the middle EF (row 15 or 16 depending on which 777)

I had both to myself on a recent flight after 15A had a video malfunction. Very private

Agree on 62AB or JK
