best seating

I've booked a trip for next Month Perth-Melbourne

June 18th VA 698 A330 seems to be the 1st configuration

I'm currently booked on seat A25 but I am assuming the view of citys light will be interrupted by the wing so will call back to get moved back (and to quote my velocity number). Hoping the plane doesn't get changed to a 737-800.

Melb-Perth
June 26th QF773 A330-300 I chose seat 54k

Do these sound ok? I don't want to be the last to be served meals.

Sorry this is my first post and i've never flown on a A330 before, My last few flights have been on 737s.

Oh, you're on the red eye from PER to MEL! If you're after a view of the city, you should sit on the right side of the aircraft (window seat K instead of A) as I believe flights to MEL approach the runway from the south in the morning with the city to the east...

Too bad you'll miss the AFF dinner and drinks in MEL:
