SkyScanner used to have the 'Cheapest Month' option in their flight search and it was a handy way to scout out when prices to a specific destination might be at their lowest. It worked when you used a specific route in economy.

It looks like this feature has been removed from SkyScanner. What would now be the best or handiest service / tool out there to sniff out the cheapest times to travel?

Google Flights! You can set a date, or you can simply search for the best price in the next 6 months, or within a particular month. But you can also search for all classes of service as well. Only limitation is that you can't do this beyond 6 months.

Thanks for much for this. I thought I knew everything about Google flights but this is something new to me and will definitely help with planning.
