Best way to work this OW RTW award

These T&Cs don't mention anything about RTW awards, the 140k points cost or the 16 segments. Are these just taken as givens? It seems to talk more about pricing awards with points when going point to point which, as I understand it, would mean far more than 140k points for most RTW itineraries if pricing point to point.
The 16 segment limit is noted under the "Award Flights - Booking" section 13.2:
13.2.4 An Award Flight Itinerary must contain no more than 16 Segments (including any Surface Segments).
Section 13 applies to all award flights/bookings.

I don't think there is that option... but i ended up booking it over the phone so didn't see any screen where you could adjust points/dollars...

i am in fact about to change the routing for this trip, will fly direct from Sydney to Buenos Aries and as I had seat 71 D booked on the May 22nd QF93 A380 from Melb-Lax, if anyone else is on that flight and wants to grab it when i cancel this flight segment probably in the next couple of days they are welcome to it...
