"Holy duck snapping fur coats" as a mate of mine used to say. How much commission do you charge for planning a holiday? What you did in Tasmania was more amazing than I would have ever done myself and I think New Zealand follows suit.

Bonza reading, thanks 😋

Hahaha RooF. Waaaaay expensive ;)

Thanks for another great report. We used Wilderness in 2009 & 2010 and they were great- since been sold by the family we dealt with. At the time we used the web site rankers.co.nz and I see it is still going strong as a review site but now seems to do bookings too.

Thank you for a wonderful trip report - makes me miss NZ so much and look forward to getting back there.
Great report, we have done a similar trip, destination wise at least, and this was a great reminder of some of the fantastic sights in the South Island. As a kiwi thanks for highlighting what sights and experiences there are available.

Next time you're on the West Coast try the Rainforest Retreat in Franz Josef. We stayed there a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. It has pretty much every type of accom available from 5* to campers and backpackers.

Pretty sure we stayed there 19 years ago in a very cute little log cabin!

I loved tagging along to see how a campervan trip really is like. With Mrsdrron alongside me there is no way in the world i will ever be doing a campervan trip. it was very informative. added to which some really good photos throughout.
But bpb you need a gold medal going in a campervan with your UC.

Thanks drron. Some nights weren't too great for bAl or me but it's been our life for months now. We just made each day work the best it could :)
