Tomorrow is also the Qantas Group full-year results announcement, so we should find out whatever this is about in the morning.

Sorry to ruin everyone's parade, but I'm expecting this to be very anticlimactic.

That being said if we're going to play that game, they keep talking about "napping" and new aircraft are on the table so I'm going to say lie flat JQ seats on long haul.

That's certainly a possibility and would actually make flying JQ in J a good option (especially if they do away with the nonsense of Business class not earning SCs).

Some other possibilities I see is that JetStar merges their reservation systems with Qantas and that integration will allow you to do things like point upgrades to higher cabins on JQ, the ability to pay for ancillaries using points, etc.

I'm not sure if I can recall too many announcements on social media to this effect "Something big coming" that aren't anticlimactic. Most are. Just trying to drive engagement.
