Bike rental in Amsterdam & Copenhagen

Hi all, my family of 4 adults will have a few days in Amsterdam and Copenhagen in late May. both are bike friendly thus we want to rent the bike to get around. Wonder if you can share your experience and advice?

Depending on how often and for how long you are going to Amsterdam, I highly recommend swapfiets. It starts at about 23 euro a month for a really good 7 speed bike with disc breaks. Even if you're there for a week or less, it beats every single tourist bike rental shop which will charge exactly that much or more per day and for a coughtier bike.

It also exists in Denmark, but I've never been so I'm not sure if there's better options.
