BKK-MEL-BKK Flights

G'day all,

Anyone know of some good deals going in Y or J for the following dates BKK-MEL-BKK:

21/10/11-29/10/11
10/12/11-07/01/12

And also the reverse MEL-BKK-MEL for 25/09/11-10/10/11

Have about 160,000 ROP Gold Member miles available as well. Annoying that this half price mileage sale is only till the end of August! 11000 Baht also seems a bit steep on the taxes for these legs, nearly $300.

Any tips or special fares people know that are going on would be greatly appreciated

Should also note that hold a THAI platinum American Express credit card if this can provide any deals as well.

My advice would be to purchase the JetStar flight on this route. Keep your ROP points for a different route.
