I am traveling from Bangkok to Sydney next week up the front. Its been awhile since i have taken a overnight SE Asian flight back to aus and i am wondering about the service ill receive.

Do QF serve 'supper' or dinner on the flight?
Is it a full breakfast or the cafe service in the morning?

Its showing to be a A330-300, i hope it remains this way as i dont like being on the -200 with only one loo!

I know that QF have closed their lounge and i am planning on visiting the CX lounge.

Thanks for your help!

According to the booking engine dinner is served on this flight.

CX lounge in BKK Is quite nice, enjoy the noodle bar! Service is dinner, with breakfast Being Yoghurt option or Pastry from memory. Their Smoothies are very good onboard! Make sure to get one

Good to read that you're already aware that the Cathay Pacific lounge is far better than the contract lounge Qantas is using in BKK!

The breakfast should be a little better than the old "cafe" breakfasts. They improved their breakfast offering on the overnight flights from Asia about a year ago, from memory.

Enjoy the new J suites :)

Just be aware the CX lounge doesn't have showers so if you wish to have one go to the Louis Tavern lounge for a bit prior to boarding.

Yeah im well aware to avoid the Louis Tavern. I think ill spend my time between the Cathay lounge and the Emirates lounge. Both a comfortable from memory.

Thanks for the advice! Glad to hear the cafe breakfasts have gone!

Cheers

Hope the 'supper' menu is gone for you as well. I wouldn't take much stock of the booking engine as the evening flight from SIN shows dinner when supper is the service. Perhaps with the closing of the QF lounge in BKK, they can no longer assume that you will have eaten before boarding.
