2weeksLooks ok, how far out are these flights??
I am SG. Is that normal?Normal if your status isn't high enough to select from the forward rows.

Yes.I am SG. Is that normal?
Exactly - and it is a relatively recent "enhancement".I think that has to do with them being bassinet positions. I'm a P1 and generally can't select Row 1 on A330s either.
Fair enough - as a WP I generally haven't been able to select row 1 on 330/789 for some time.Exactly - and it is a relatively recent "enhancement".I think that has to do with them being bassinet positions. I'm a P1 and generally can't select Row 1 on A330s either.
"relatively recent" is a subjective term, I would be thinking of about 2 years ago.Fair enough - as a WP I generally haven't been able to select row 1 on 330/789 for some time.

I know E & F are not bassinet seats but I also know A & K will now refuse selection even after T-80 with the message that they are bassinet seats and can only be reserved by calling Qantas. I don't know if E & F give the same message as I have never attempted to reserve them - I prefer window seats.FWIW, Here's a flight I am on in December.

I can let you know sooner - I'm flying on Friday and so T-80 will be tonight.Any way, unallocated Row 1 seats generally open up at T-80 for me. I'll wait until December and report back.
My last J international flights were almost fully blocked out at 4 weeks prior to flights, but it was SQ so they tend to have blocked seats booked well ahead of the actual flights.Hi all
Just looking at seat maps on ExpertFlyer for A330 on SYD to AKL and back again and it seems like there is a high amount of blocked seats or is this normal ?

Ok so as expected 1A and 1K did not open up at T-80 as SG.I can let you know sooner - I'm flying on Friday and so T-80 will be tonight.
Those flights will restore my WP status.
Then in two weeks I will return with another transcon on an A330.
So we will be able to compare the situation for SG & WP!
