I think I made the mistake of reading the sodium content once  (650mg per 5 fl oz serve!)

If you could still read the small print you should probably have had another one! There are various stockists of Mr and Mrs T in Australia (including Thomas Dux) but Google is your friend. On QF they used to refer to it as the "spicy tomato juice" and it does have a hint of chilli. Yum!

That would have been a nice scenario. I suspect it was because I'd had too many that I was probably unable to place the can back on the table and spent considerable time studying it.

Well Clamato is available in Australia, I know the distributor and he said sales are definitely taking off now, Clamato. but you need to be a trader to purchase from the store. The drink is quite old in Canada, I had a Bloody Ceasar over 10 years ago and I am sure it is much older than that. To me I still prefer the Bloody Mary and can mix it quite well. I do not remember which airline it was but in Business Class I did get a stick of celery as well as the swizzle stick when I order it.

Clamato .. just received 2 bottles today from Chilli Mojo site, after looking at the link for Bloody Mary.

Normally buy the Clamato from USA Foods website, but it is always out of stock.

Back to the OP slightly bigger Bloody Mary Mr & Mrs T's Bloody Mary Mix 1.75L

I picked up a bottle of original and a bottle of spicy today. There's a cafe near my work that stocks it, but I haven't picked any up before. Tomorrow will be Bloody Caesar Day!

Well on an otherwise wonderful flight trans Tasman yesterday, I had a pretty ordinary BM. Was very bland and no lemon or olives or any kick. Maybe the 4 or 5 wines in the lounge had dulled the senses, but I'll still prefer the AA versions. The QF crew had been really good to me so I didn't want to hassle them just because of an average drink.

I went with the spicy Clamato mix for this Bloody Caesar. A great mix for a Bloody Mary, but I'm not picking up much clam, the spice might be masking it - other than the vodka, ice and celery I've only needed to add a splash of Worcestershire Sauce. I'll try the classic Clamato tomorrow. Cheers.
