Ipswich has an asr3 end? I thought Ipswich was the ar5e end ðŸ˜
Count me in; to dinner. Pre D's too, If I can get there in time.
Ummmmmm... are newbies who've never been to an event and you don't know them from a bar of soap... are they welcome?
Trying to expand my social circle and being an introvert it's not the easiest thing in the world to do. But yummy food at a fun restaurant and chatting to fellow travel geeks about trips past and future sounds like something I could manage
I probably couldn't get there before 7pm so might not be able to do pre-drinks depending on the times chosen, but would really like to meet some new people if you'll have me?
Cheers

I have made a booking for 10 at 8:15PM (earlier than that would have been 6:15PM). We can probably increase the numbers, but 12 or more includes an 8% gratuity added to the bill.
Compulsory gratuity? Yeah right.I have made a booking for 10 at 8:15PM (earlier than that would have been 6:15PM). We can probably increase the numbers, but 12 or more includes an 8% gratuity added to the bill.
I believe Mick O'Malley's participates in Amex shop small and most of us like free or discounted drinks? There is a bar at the restaurant, so we could have pre-drinks there if you like, or just do them in the regular spot. Doesn't bother me. Hopefully we can be seated early and the later dining option doesn't put a spanner in anyones plans.

Fairly common at restaurants when you are booking for such a large group, at least from what I've seen.
Sounds like a wise choice, so long as those heading to dinner leave with plenty of time, as Jamie's only holds tables for 15 minutes before you lose your spot, and I certainly wouldn't be amused if I ended up eating at Mick O'Malley's

I thought I said I was going to review my participation at dinner.I thought you weren't coming to dinner anyway?

I may have a meal at Jamie's or just stay at the bar to have a drink. I'll have a look at the menu in 2 days time.
Please go ahead with the booking with the current numbers. I'll be there for drinks and if there's a spot for dinner then fine.Sooner the better please, as when I called yesterday they had spots available at 6:15 and then the next ones were at 8:15... the reservations are filling up quick! I don't think it'll be the type of place where we can rock up with a load of extra guests.
