The flight was late into BNE, and I missed the train by "that much" so I now have a 20 minute wait for the next one. I will see you when I get there.

Thanks all for a good night, it was great to catchup and surprising to see how far some had travelled. Hope we will soon see another similar event where members provide us with memoirs of a wonderful Qantas trip to new lands!

Great night, I think I got there just after 6:00pm, just arrived soon after Lindsay arrived.

We had to move locations as our dinner location ended up getting to noisy.

Thanks to Lindsay for sharing the photos with us plus some extra commentary from Markis10.

Also I think Lindsay learned something from the night, how to use tether yourIphone to get your Ipad Mini to work

You at least live pretty close to a train station. Walking to mine down an 80KM/h road isn't advised.

Until I get my EEG and am cleared to drive I hope.

Have a number now for a Brisbane-based neurologist so hopefully I can get back on the road sooner.

Was nice to meet new (and see old) AFF friends.

JohnM, who came all the way from PER on a JASA run, nice to meet you and look forward to seeing you in PER later this year (just not May).

Cafe Specific, who may be the organiser for an AFF run in the not so distant future - get that web site working again

There are some names to photos now in post #84. Was great to share more photos and memories of Dubai. Have to get those videos posted to YouTube.

Just in from work so no possible way I can make it (wasn't keen on BNE trip....but was keen to catch up with everyone), but so be it.

Have a great time everyone, if markis10 and LW don't spill the beans, stick them on the spit until they squeal!

Oh and I reckon Cafe Specific with his brown and white shirt (latte) and user name supplies coffee and coffee machines to the airports! Flat white in a mug for me thanks sport!

Sorry- wrong- no flat white for you!!! I think every wrong answer warrants a Starbucks card (for me, or course, because I'm very specific about my coffee)!

I can definitely say it was an excellent night and LW did a fantastic job recounting the trip with photos, generously garnished with the typical LW aplomb (and JessicaTam calling out the sharp shots from the bar (a la The Footy Show if you don't catch the reference) )
