Sounds like a good idea to close this thread on account of the number of members unavailable and move the date to the 17th!

Wouldn't you just leave the thread open and change the date?

With the first 20 posts saying no, I'm not here, it could get confusing for those just discovering the thread.

My only request would be that the end of year dinner (a week earlier) happen in a restaurant and not a pub

I don't mind meeting for drinks first, or after!
