BNE or SYD to Sapporo via HKG return ideas.

Planning a spot of skiing in Hokkaido in Jan 2013 and would like to go via HKG. Would prefer to travel J class for the Aus to HKG return leg. I am WP and wife is silver. Have around 80k of points to use. Can put up with PE to HKG if it is a day flight, however if O/nite definitely want flat bed. HKG to CHT can be economy. Any suggestions on the most cost effective way to book.
