As a part of upcoming SQ RTW fare I'm toying with the idea to credit the first half of BNE-SIN-LHR to Velocity.

My idea would be

BNE-SIN credit to VA
SIN-LHR credit to Krisflyer on the way SQ qualification

The only way I see it happening is if I only check-in BNE to SIN using Velocity. During my 6 hours going to Singapore city, change the FF account to KF then check-in.

Is it possible at the counter or online to specific two accumulation programs on the one checkin?

May not be possible if same flight number.

Change in flight number should allow for new FF program to be added.

Note changes in FF number can be done at the lounge.

Did you book via an agent? If yes, get them to enter the FF numbers on a per flight basis.

If you booked online you'll have to chance it with check in changing it for you, and be prepared for it to go wrong.

It should be possible at Changi to do this, if your agent hasn't been able to do this beforehand. Unless it has changed recently you need to make sure that they set the FQTV field to the appropriate mileage program.

Also, for the BNE-SIN sector, if in economy or PE, and you want to use inflight wifi free of charge, you may need to also include the KF number in the FQTS field for that sector. I believe this can be done during online check-in- use Krisflyer number for status benefits and the Velocity number for the mileage accrual (by ticking the box that says you want to earn miles on a different program). If in business this doesn't matter.

yes, two different flight numbers, two boarding passes.

booked direct with SQ website.

Fortunately this time in J. I got caught with the FQTV field on a previous booking.

Thanks everyone for this feedback I can see I can make it work. I'm just wanting to finesse the SC, not wasting SC with virgin. My future redemptions will be intra-Asia where SQ miles will go further.
