For Y flight reward seats from BNE to SIN (SQ)But there seems to be a blockout on the Red Eye flights (departs 2235) from 2nd June to End of August (maybe longer)

Has anyone noticed something like this before?
Seasonal blockout and opens up later, or never?
Or something to do with VA redemption points changes on 1st June? if this block hasnt happened before that would be too coincidental.

I really want to get the Y reward seat BNE-SIN on 14 July, at 2235 for the obvious reason, can work all day, and I'll be in Bangkok for brunch. But I can only grab the daytime flights, of which are plenty, but I really hate arriving in Asia in the evenings, IMO its worse than Jetlag than longer flights.

Now this particular reward seat on the SQ Redeye is available every day even tomorrow, all the way up to 1st June. So obviously these seats are generally not booked out early
However from and including 2nd June all the way through to end of August, there are no Red Eye flights available any day, except for the odd one or two early in the week. Plenty of daytime flights though.

I got bored and stopped checking further but at least in October, there are redeye flights avaiilable every day, so it would suggest that there is a blockout period starting 2nd June.
Checking some random dates from MEL or SYD, the same blockout seems to be occuring. Even from 11 June to 26 June there are almost no Reward seats at all.

I checked a handful of corresponding flights on Krisflyer, and these flights are waitlisted for reward seats there, so it may well be a SQ blockout, rather than VA. But as I am using Velocity points and where I did all my searching I am asking here. I havent spent a lot of time looking at J reward seats. With the price dropping significantly on 1st June I would rather not pay 80k points now.
