I received the same offer as well. Have also never earned a single SC on VA.

Have so on partner airlines though.

Platinum here and no email that I can see. It's a shame, I could really use it this year round and have about 270k points sitting in Altitude, would happily transfer some of them out.

Was also planning on taking up the 'targeted' velocity amex platinum offer which was something like a $300 annual fee for 150SCs and 50k velocity points by 30th June...
Oh well. I guess I'm just gonna have to try and fly more this year. What a shame )

the 100SC/2k offer that I saw was sent to a red with only 10SC and 0 miles in the account. My parents are reds and didn't get any offers, I'm WP and didn't get anything, neither did an SG.

Mrs QF WP got the offer - 200 SC's for 75,000 points. She has no points or SC's earned this year (Partner Gold). She also has no CC points, as she has supplementary cards. Interesting offer - pity I didn't get one (but had already transferred points in May and only 25K, so wouldn't have made the eligibility). Clever marketing idea, but wonder what is the take up?

My wife and daughter are both Platinum but neither got an offer just me. Since I haven't got the 100,000 points for 300SC's I wonder if transferring one of the smaller amounts would result in the corresponding SC's. Would be nice to keep my families status going in addition to mine. A bit light on this year.

But really couldn't care less, this was my first year as WP with VA and am more than happy to drop to SG. Feeling a bit disenchanted by the whole program to be honest...

I think most feel the same way. I've been WP since it was introduced and I'm no longer flying solely with VA for the same reason. If I don't maintain with VA I don't really care anymore, its their loss. But if they are giving SC's away I'm happy to take them.
