Bonus AMEX points after a phone call!

Hello all,

Whilst quite new at AMEX Membership Rewards game, I had such a good experience today thought that I would mention it.

I called to see when my statement would be finalised and to see what charges are still pending, told all info and provided basic feedback about lowish acceptance in UK. The consultant advised me to log online later on in the day and to see 1k bonus points. I just logged on and got the below - thank you to AMEX !!!

Still trying to get 2 complimentary invitations from the Qantas Amex premium card that were due to me in January 2012. I think I am up to 22 phone calls now with about 11 promises to escalate to marketing or back office.

I wonder if this simple issue will be solved this century.

It is not the end of the world but I hate the poor service. I should really ask for compensation as well.

Why don't you stay on the phone until its done and they're in your account?!
