I haven't looked into this in too much detail, but I wonder if it might be similarly lucrative to that Woolworths pet insurance promo from a few years ago? According to the T&Cs:

Had a very quick play around getting a quote for a 2yo desexed male Maine coon last night and came at $43/month for the premium policy. Would have to spend more time to know how much cheaper it could get but at that rate you’d be wanting to know that the points hit prior to the 2nd premium being paid. The terms say up to 105 days after taking out the policy. Would be good to know other people’s experience on how long it actually usually takes.
