Bonuses for transferring Flybuys points to Velocity

Does anyone have any recent experience with how long it will take for points to transfer across to velocity once auto transfer is switched on? I know it says up to 48hrs but it this sort of timeframe usual?

I haven't done it for a couple of months but in my experience it's more-or-less instantaneous.

Mine took a few hours, less than 24.

My transfer came through within a day or two but still waiting on the bonus points.

My transfer maybe 18 months ago was next day, FB's for some reason don't do same day points hit account like EDR.

But the bonus transfer was next day and bonus 15% came at same time.

Mrs Excel offered transfer 10,000 FB for a bonus 1000 VFF and 500 FB (10% vff bonus)
I was offered transfer 30k for 2k/1k so a worse ratio (6% vff bonus)
Am I better off holding off? No urgency to redeem at VFF but probably will redeem there eventually.

Interesting offer you and your wife got @exceladdict - we got transfer 100k FB and get 4k VFF and 2k FB which does not seem like as good as a deal that your wife got...am tempted to transfer 100k for now to get the offer and hold off until some point in the future to do another transfer...

Indeed, running the maths I think waiting for a 10% bonus would be better.

Will be taking this up as we have over 400,000 flybuys across a couple of accounts. Just over 30,0000 bonus velocity points seems like a good deal.

Bonus points came through overnight. Was expecting to have to call to follow up so a pleasant surprise. A nice result with 30,300 bonus pts between the two NoNames.

Still nothing. Anyone else received the bonus points? Might give it till Mon, but can’t see why they don’t just allocate bonus points at time of initial transfer. As happens with Citi to VFF.

I forgot about the 5% bonus, but still haven’t received it, way past the 28 days now. Did anyone get it?

I called them a few days ago because I hadn't received the 5% bonus either. They explained that the 5% was only given to people who linked their Flybuys and Velocity accounts during the promotion period for the first time (ever). I explained that the fine print seemed to say that the 15% bonus was for people who linked their accounts for the first time ever, but the 5% bonus was available to anyone.

They escalated it to a supervisor but stood their ground and told me that I wasn't eligible. In the end I gave up.
