I reckon you might be heading down the right path.Perhaps Bonza/Flair need to pull their heads in.

Compass, Ansett and Tiger come to mind..
Bonza = Compass? Circa 1990, CASA back to it's bad old ways?Sure they do..
I'm pretty sure Bonza paying for the hotel for passengers out of town that have been bumped to a flight the next day. As a good aussie airline should.so apparently a few passengers have been bumped from these flights and automatically rebooked onto the next available flights
Nope. All they got from Bonza is a text message to say they’ve been rebooked onto the Saturday flight — 4 days later. And if that wasn’t convenient they could request a refund. Nothing about accomodation at all.I'm pretty sure Bonza paying for the hotel for passengers out of town that have been bumped to a flight the next day. As a good aussie airline should.

Crew are all BNE based alongside its HQ and engineering. Bonza would be wearing that repositioning cost as part of the bill.Very odd the Air Nauru operated down to Brisbane for a few hours last night then back up to the Sunday coast this morning.
Hmm.. If only Australian Consumer Laws that contained passenger rights in regard to airline delays and cancellations, like in the EU.the mcy-mql service i was booked on for saturday just was cancelled, and all we were offered was a refund, nothing about accomodation

From what I’ve heard most flights are 70-80% ish full, either side of that is a burst of full flights and are some emptier flights on the other end.How many pax actually onboard some of these flights.
Aaaand UIK now showing as operating ROK instead.Tomorrow might be the day.
Flight Radar listing C-FLKC as scheduled to operate OOL-ROK tomorrow.
Gold Coast Airport flight information also lists a Bonza positioning flight to MCY at 2130 tonight, meaning VH-UIK is most likely scheduled to position back to base.
