New uniforms are out. Bit of a joke sort of airline it seems. I mean, sneakers for Pilots? Really?

Embarrassing.

You can still be causal like, fun, yet still professional without all the tattoos and sneaker wearing pilots.

I really don't see the problem in what I see as fun and relatable

Anyone remember Niki? The cabin crew uniform was jeans with sneakers - quite practical and it stood out, in a good way IMHO.

I think the Pilots uniform looks fine aside the shoes, the tie is often a hit and miss half the time anyway. Virgin Blue didn’t have a tie or hat before Virgin Australia, then they went more corporate. My last couple JQ flights I noted they didn’t wear the tie.

I would feel like a bit of a dick being a pilot wearing and having to wear those those white shoes.

In terms of different, I like the JetBlue pilots uniform, same expect blue, and the old Virgin America uniform which was black/silver looked pretty swish.

The white shoes are not mandated. if you notice the woman in the Australian link you might notice her shoes aren't white. A few more wearing footwear other than white sneakers in our local free paper.

With the top photo (on tarmac) will it be a potential problem that the girl in the middle doesn't appear to have any distinguishing monograms on her 'uniform'?

Bonza doesn't target the older demographic above say 45, but it'll still carry some who are way above that age.. Is the streetwear so trendy that older folk with macular degeneration or unused to travelling on aircraft may believe the wearers are passengers not attendants? Sometimes, what they're doing (safety demo etc.) makes it clear but if she was standing in the aisle at boarding to direct passengers to seats, she could be hard to distinguish.

They don’t look like crew because you are either looking at the Designer, or the chief commercial officer, in those photos.

Uniform designer according to the caption:

Trying to work out what is going on with the tail and the body.

Tail looks like it may have been painted LOT colours and then only partially removed (With new Bonza colours to the rudder). Winglets still LOT (also partially degraded). Body in grey (not green primer / base) - presumably also painted and stripped?
First sight of a Bonza 737-8. Looks like the lessor has acquired off a cancelled LOT Polish order.
Edit: It was intended to be delivered to LOT as SP-LVE, which was ntu

So - what do we think.... didn't book enough time in the sheds, or didn't get enough done before the test flight guy showed up? 😜

They normally do the rudder part separately from previous photos I’ve seen.
