Same way you book any flight... QF website or App, call centre or via a TA.I have enough QFF points for one person to fly to Europe using Qantas in Premium Economy.
I can book myself on the points -
But How can I then "pay" & book for my partner to be into a Premium Economy seat with me - on these flights ??
I think you’ll have to make two separate bookings, one for you, and a separate one for your partner. Once you have both tickets you go into the manage booking function for each and select seats beside each other.I have enough QFF points for one person to fly to Europe using Qantas in Premium Economy.

My friend and I were flying almost the same itinerary, but separate PNRs.You can also ask Qantas for your bookings to be linked (as opposed to merged).
Not sure what practical effect this has (although I did get some seat selection fees refunded for my dad when I linked his booking to mine), but it's better than not being linked.
Good idea for the points thanks.Welcome to AFF! Why not use your points for your partner and pay for your own flight instead so that you can then earn the points into your account?
I would do it the other way around. Book the points first, then book the paid fare. You wouldn’t want to spend 10 mins booking the paid fare to find out the award seat had been snapped up in the meantime.Good idea for the points thanks.
But really to be on the same flight seats & ticketing looks to be a real juggling act instead of
Select flights - pay for passenger A then use points for passenger B - booked.
