Booking AirBnB through Qantas website

Hmm, first time an AirBnB stay hasn’t posted automatically after a couple days. Now right on 7 days allowing for time zones.

I suppose we should wait ~14 days before trying to claim some points…?

Typically I’ve been waiting 8 weeks then claiming. Done this on a few occasions in the past six months

The QF website (under “missing points”) is somewhat vague….

Qantas Hotels and Airbnb
Qantas Frequent Flyers have up to 90 days from day of check-out to claim missing Qantas Points for Qantas Hotels or Airbnb bookings.

Nothing about waiting X days before claiming but I actually read this as you have a max of 90 days to lodge a missing points claim? 🤷‍♂️

SYD, my initial response from Qantas AIRBNB/Hotel Support :

Kindly note that for booking XYZETC, , points will be awarded to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account 6-8 weeks after the check-out date. If these points are still not reflecting in your account after 8 weeks, please reply to this email, so we may manually award these points to your account.

Had 2 AirBnBs stays in August last year, both booked via Qantas website, just got those points credited this month, after questioning myself whether I made the booking correctly for 6 months, lmao.

I had a booking which started 25 December last year, and this morning, 25 March, the points dropped. I'd forgotten about the stay to even think of chasing it.

Interestingly, they didn't count to this year's Points Club total.

Just had points come through for a stay back in Feb, over 6 months ago!!

Is there an🛷🛼 online form or email address to use to claim missing points from Wantas Hotels ?

I’ve a couple from late June that seem to have “vanished into the black hole”

Hi, all,
I recently made my first AirBNB booking via the QF Hotels website. It's been (part) paid for but I can't see it in my hotels listing - does this mean that it didn't track correctly?

I understand that the points won't arrive until the stay is completed but other upcoming accommodation stays that I've booked via QF Hotels I can see in my list.

If it didn't track, is there any way that I could claim the points back (I did take screenshots that say QF is linking to AirBNB, if this helps)?

The QF website doesn't actually track your Airbnb bookings, so that's normal. Keep your screenshots just in case, but personally I've never had it not credit.

…further to this. AirBnB points post quickly. Usually about 4 days from memory v 4 wks for Hotels.

With reference to posts earlier in the thread, there was an era where posting of points was not reliable. In the last 12 months this hasn’t been a problem, in my experience.
