I've been doing some google-flights-ing and it appears that some VA operated fares booked on DL are far cheaper for Y+ than booking through VA themselves.
The only problem is, the price comes up and it says 'book through a travel agent', you can't book them online.
Has anyone had any success getting fares that come up as such on google flights booked?
Does AFF have any forum member TAs that are regularly used by other forum members?

That's surprising. Maybe DL.com wants to route via their SYD flight. What dates are you looking for?

The better option is, do you have a decent travel agent?

EDIT: I just realised that you are going with an afternoon SYD BNE flight, so I assume that you want a stop over in BNE? If so, you'll probably need a real travel agent.

I've never found an OTA to book this. I wish that I could!

If you travel a lot, it is worth investing the effort in finding a good TA.

After some more playing, I can get other dates to price up on delta.com just not those ones. I'll just have to go with different dates. Bargain though, Y+ on VA metal $1759 LAX return...
