booking FROM Addis Ababa

Hi!
I'm looking into a trip to Ethiopia, flying from PER to ADD, and have been playing around with various ways to possibly book the flights, including mix of cash and rewards, nested itineraries, etc.
The QF site will let me search for flights to ADD from PER (or other origins, eg BKK), one-way or return, cash or reward, but will not let me search with ADD as my origin (ie, in my case, as a one-way ticket home) under any parameters . Won't let me start at ADD on the regular booking panel or the Multi-city. Are there any tricks or 'hacks' to get around this seeming limitation? Would ringing the call centre (gulp!) be likely to provide the option?

You can't book flights on the website where Qantas doesn't have the origin country's currency in its system. You need to call.

Yes, thanks, I've had a look but as part of my wide ranging exploration I was looking into QF Classic Rewards.

Yeah, unfortunately the Qantas website won't sell you a ticket originating in any country in Africa except South Africa. You'll have to book the flight out of ADD as part of an itinerary starting elsewhere (use the multi-city booking tool if you have to), or otherwise call up.
