I'm trying to sort out a holiday for next yr where I've already got the SYD LAX router booked with my QFF points.

I'm looking at options to come back to sydney - hopefully either as LAX or SFO to NRT or ICN then SYD and while QF is sort of showing flights in early october, most other airlines and booking engines are barely into september.

bestflights is showing till sept 30, but they've not changed the date over the last week.

Does anyone know of a booking engine that shows flights at the extreme edge of availability, or do I just have to find my inner peace and wait for a few more weeks

There are quite a few airlines that only load inventory 330 days out.AA is one of those.Their availability will only be until mid September therefore.

Qantas and a few other airlines allow booking up to 353 days out, many others at 330.

I guess best-flight sticks to the owest common denominator.

Damn

Oh well I will just have to be patient.

Does anyone know of a service that lets you monitor the pricing for a specific flight routing?

I know you can do this kind of thing with say 1 way or return trips, but i've not seen anything to let you do a multi stop journey.

If it's not avail it should be. Considering the money you can save should a cheap fare come up I'd be willing to py a small annual fee for something like this since I'm usually doing 10+ flights a year

ExpertFlyer will let you check historical pricing for routes going back about 3 years.

Thanks serft, but I think with jet fuel at historical highs the recent past is not going to be too much of an indication as to the pricing in the future.

What I really want is an alert that says your routing lowest price is xx_X or even say the top 5 pricing so that you can then go check it out further.

Hopefully google brings something like that out now that they've bought some comapny that's invlolved with flight searches.
