Hey folks, I'm looking to spend a couple of days in AUH on the way to Europe next year. Would be VA metal SYD-AUH, then EY AUH-CDG, flight back would be straight through with just the layover in AUH.

As multi-stop bookings can't be made online at the moment, has anyone had any experience booking a stopover through the call centre? Assume it should be relatively straightforward?

Are you booking with points? or paid fare? Should be very straightforward for the call centre either way.. If you're booking J with an EY ticket then a free nights stay in AUH is included in the fare.

Wouldn't this "stopover" just be two separately booked sectors? I did BNE-AUH (VA) and then AUH-MLE (EY) on points without issue (7 day stopover) but I really didn't think there would ever be a problem. Why are you concerned about it?
