Booking with Agoda, possible to add Club number at check in?

Good day folks of AFF.

Is it possible to double dip and book an Accor hotel with Agoda to earn VFF points and then add your Accor membership details at check in so it counts as a qualifying stay for those purposes and for getting my free samsonite?

I usually email the hotel and ask them to add it to my booking. It does grind my gears that third party websites don't allow for any loyalty memberships to be added to the booking.

Most bookings via third party websites don't qualify for earning points anyway.

In any case, you can try do it at check-in also but don't expect too much.

I thought Hilton were the only major hotel loyalty program that allowed double dipping.

I'm not too concerned about points with Accor, but would it at least count toward gaining status if I booked through agoda and then gave them my details?
